The 26ha property is now one of G’day Group’s most distinctively positioned assets, offering accommodation, hospitality and guided nature experiences in the Noosa region.
The property is expected to deliver nearly $40m in annual economic benefit and support over 150 full-time jobs in the Noosa region, according to the Caravan Industry Association of Australia and BDO 2026 Global Economic Contribution Report.

G’day Group founder Grant Wilckens says Habitat Noosa is an exceptional asset.
G’day Group founder Grant Wilckens said the acquisition strengthened its national footprint and position in premium regional tourism.

The acquisition cements G’day Group’s position in Queensland, marking its second resort alongside Discovery Resorts – Undara and building on its 2025 purchases of Discovery Parks – Lake Tinaroo, Discovery Parks – Bargara and Discovery Parks – Blackwater.
It expands G’day Group’s portfolio to 97 nationwide properties.
G’day Group has announced the acquisition of Habitat Noosa Everglades EcoCamp – an award-winning nature-based eco-camp on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Habitat Noosa has more than 300 accommodation options, including glamping tents, powered and unpowered sites and backpacker cabins.
The property also includes a 200-seat bar and bistro with views of Lake Cootharaba, and an on-site microbrewery.
The acquisition includes a new 60-year lease from the Queensland Government and 5ha of vacant land, providing future development potential in a region with strong domestic and international demand.
There are no interruptions to existing bookings.
