A new Korean department and grocery store is sweeping across Australia, set to rival food halls and beauty hubs alike.
Australians are taking their love affair for Japan and instead moving their love to its neighbour South Korea – with Seoul having climbed a massive 14 spots on Booking.com’s ranking of most searched international destinations for Easter this year compared to the last.
As Aussies jump on flights to experience the delectable street food and stalk the aisles of Olive Young for the best skincare – now they don’t have to.
Korean mart K-Mall – not to be confused with K-mart – offers the best of Korean goods including fresh food, beauty and K-pop merchandise.

In a time where food halls and department stores are slowly dying out, K-Mall has become a popular destination for those seeking a touch of Korean flare with more than just one offering.
Sweeping across Sydney suburbs, their latest flagship store has now opened in the Sydney CBD on the 1st of July.
Featuring a Korean street food and bakery section, fans only are raving about Sydney’s first ever K-Chup Sarada, a popular street food sweet bread with 14 different flavours and fillings available.

It also has a butcher with premium wagyu for at home Korean barbecue cooking, convenience store favourites including a variety of ramen, mango juice, mango soft-serve as well as ready-to-eat meals.
For the skincare lovers it has popular K-Beaty brands, many of which have gone viral online, including Biodance, Arencia, Muse, Centella and d’Alba.

Primarily trading in bricks and mortar stores, K-Mall-09 is also launching an online store on July 7.
The latest location is right in the heart of the Sydney CBD, at 555 George St.
