“Sentiment is a vector for health, and transaction volumes and asset values are a barometer for sentiment. To this end, the transaction landscape nationally this year has been greater than all other years on record,” Mr Joliffe told realcommercial.com.au.
“That’s with the exception of 2022, when the world rebounded.”

Mr Jolliffe said that while city pubs play an important role, the significance of country pubs is often more pronounced in regional communities.
“Pubs are the epicentre of their respective communities and nowhere is that truer than in country towns. They provide a place for people to connect socially, emotionally and regularly.
“Nothing happens in a country town that isn’t discussed at the local pub, and vice versa. That’s precisely why the idea of the ‘pub test’ resonates so strongly.”
